About AOA
Diversifying Beyond · Autumn Cohort 2026
The cohort is deliberately senior and deliberately small — designed for executives who hold or directly inform allocation authority.
The cohort
Leading pension funds and social security institutions.
Holding allocation authority at pension funds and social security institutions.
Directors who approve allocation mandates and receive the board-ready investment pack.
And Heads of International or Alternative Allocation.
And asset-liability management leads at insurers.
And trustee representatives with mandate-approval responsibility.
Delegations
Funds are encouraged to send two delegates — typically one executive and one member of the investment or governance team — so that the implementation work continues after the programme ends.
Institutions sending two or more delegates should contact the convenor before applying.
Institutions may tailor executive attendance across workstreams, provided designated senior representation is present for the four core checkpoints: mandate definition, readiness, recommendation and approval planning.
Another qualifying executive from the same institution may attend in place of a confirmed delegate, at no charge, up to seven days before the programme opens.
We will help you build the business case and provide the papers your committee needs.
Diversifying Beyond
An implementation platform engineered to bridge the gap between strategic intent and live execution.
The full platform runs 11–24 October 2026 across two working weeks in London.
The Asset Owners Africa team leading the programme and delegate confirmations.
Hosted inside the institutions — peer exchange between allocators, not a manager pitching product to a prospect.
