Interview
In Conversation: A CIO on Domestic Deployment
An example interview format exploring how a chief investment officer balances domestic deployment with diversification.
This is a fictional example interview demonstrating the interview template.
How do you think about domestic deployment?
We see domestic deployment as part of our fiduciary duty, not a substitute for it. Every domestic investment must meet the same return and risk tests as any other allocation.
What would help you invest more in infrastructure?
Standardised structures, credible co-investors and pipeline transparency. We need to see projects early enough to influence their structure.
